About the Plant: Khuñu muña is a relatively common, very low-growing herb found in the Quechua ecological zone of Andean valleys and hillsides. Several species and varieties of muña exist, with this being considered strongest in traditional Andean medicine, typically used as tea. Its leaves are much smaller than other muña species.
